Tessa & Sam

"Jen was amazing to work with. My partner and I hate getting our photos taken and always feel awkward in front of the camera, but Jen made us feel so comfortable and at ease during our session. We absolutely adore our photos and I know we will treasure them forever."

TONI & JAMES

A very special styled shoot with a real couple, Toni and James. I had the idea of a spring time, country garden elopement, and some fabulous local vendors helped turn that into a reality. We used the incredibly cute Estate Trentham as our venue where Toni & James could get ready together, have their garden "elopement" with some delicious pavlova to finish off the afternoon. I wanted a styled shoot that couples could picture themselves in and that highlighted the fantastic regional vendors we have out here. They are all included in my Recommended Vendors Guide that every couple receives when they book :)

Yazmeen & Lachie

"We'd never done any kind of couples shoot before we met Jen so, safe to say we were both a bit nervous and didn't know what to expect. Those nerves immediately went away when we met Jen for the first time in the parking lot of Cape Schanck Lighthouse. Her relaxed, approachable, and kind manner put us both at ease and was incredibly helpful when I (with my fear of heights) braved the unbeaten paths surrounding Cape Schanck. Jen went above and beyond to help Lachie and I feel comfortable having our pictures taken. She gave us tips on how to feel more natural and even threw in a joke or two to get a genuinely candid laugh out of us. The high quality of the photos she sent us are a testement to her skill as a photographer. The session took place on a sunny mid-afternoon and we were backlit for most of it, but the photos came out absolutely stunning! I highly recommend Jen for anyone looking for a friendly photographer with an amazing eye! Lachie and I are definitely looking forward to working with Jen again on our wedding day!"

ANNA & ZEKE

Anna and Zeke had an intimate ceremony under the willows of the Botanical Gardens in Castlemaine, and what a gorgeous backdrop they made. They knew they wanted to do things their way, by having a few moments together pre ceremony and taking the pressure off by not walking down an isle. Tasmin Whaley held such a unique ceremony to them, including involving the whole party in the symbolic gesture of throwing stones into the water. Anna and Zeke warned me when we first spoke that they are very awkward in front of the camera and I think on the day you couldn't tell at all! After sneaking around some local spots for portraits I joined them in their entrance to The Railway Hotel after leaving them to enjoy a lunch with their nearest and dearest, including their rescue pup Scout! Anna and Zeke always wanted a relaxed day with those closest to them and they pulled it off  fabulously.

Sinead

While weddings were off the cards due to, you know what, I decided to hit the streets with beautiful Sinead to keep inspired with a fun bridal shoot. We wandered the streets on a sunny autumn afternoon and I imagined Sinead was making her way from home to the registry office to marry her love. I injected some of my personal style into this shoot as I'm always a fan of a slightly off beat bridal outfit and it was great to experiment with light and shade.
